I know how to input codes that look like words when you turn it upside down. Other than that, I forgot almost all of the magic of the calculator 
Why do we tend to forget so very much when we leave school?

because we don't actually remember much we learn in school.
I can program my graphing calculator to do Trigonometic calculations from only three or four variables. Can you? (I have too much time on my hands... XP)

I can't even remember my basic Trigonometry, and that's the dumbed down version we learn over here *_*
Why do Americans do much more complicated maths at school than we do here? I don't even know what Calculus is and I was a pretty high ranking student back in......2000 ¬_¬

really? Blimey! And here I am thinking math is Easy even if trig is much less so. Ah well, i have failed Trig once but only because i quit doing my homework every night.
Im not sure i know what calculus is myself, what is it?

No clue at all, unless it's some complicated name for advanced calculator maths. I was better at algebra *_*
Why do people find algebra so complicated? It's only replacing numbers with letters, other than that it's just simple sums!!!

I wonder about that myself.
Why is it that math is so... inflexible... and has so many rules that one cannot bend or get around?

That's something I've also wondered!! 
I think there are mathematicians out there who dedicate their lives to getting around these supposedly strict rules to maths. When you think about it it's rather like science- the majority of it is theory conjured up by some person, it's only really a rule until someone disproves it. Scientific equations are the worst for that I think.
If scientists supposedly believe a theory when they see it in practice, in hard fact in front of their very eyes, then why will they not believe that Kirlian photography is genuine? (as just one example)
