The Great Muffin Epic

[Miss Lockheart]

*wakes up and yawns* "twenty days is it not?"

"Better get some sleep yourself, tired guards are no good to anyone ^^"

*flies off to patrol the area, looking for serpentine infiltrators*

says I, "Oh Well, even ggreat gardeners need to rest." I drift over that invisible horizon, slumber...

i sit watching the guardians sleep and patrol. . .then decide its time for some fun. . .

*puts on his assassin's weapons and stealth gear, then i walk to an open window and jump down to the muffery(i wonder if thats a word. . .) world below*
*falls among the muffins, his stealth devices neutralizing any magic around me and any sounds, so no one hears me fall, then i make sure my invisability cloak is on and move forward*
*i slowly approach zotar, who is sleeping*
*i consider killing him right then and there, but decide that since his no problem asleep, so i simply move forward towards ML, who is off patroling*
*i come close enough to ML to assassinate her, then remember she is looking for "serpentine" infiltrators. . .not humanoid. . .so i walk all the way to the other side of the garden, take a handful of muffins, replace them with fake muffins that look exactly real(but are really made of plastic). . .and then i float off to my fortress in the sky. . .leaving behind a muffin&human-eating serpent that i summon to entertain ML and make her believe that no one stole anything. . .*
*once on my fortress, i take my muffins out and put them on a bowl, then take one and proceed to eat it, watching from my chair as my serpent casts an immobilizing spell and starts eating the sleeping zotar alive and whole. . .*
ahhh. . .my little serpent is learning a thing or two about killing silently. . .
The Scales of Balance are balanced no longer. . .

I wake up in a cramped chamber full of gastric juice. Calmly, with my skin beginning to itch rather badly, I mentally call on words of power to end my paralisis and summon my sword. I cut free of what i suddenly realize is a conjured snake. I freeze the magical conjuration in its place and then dissemble the spell at a time. As i do so i am able to read the words of power that formed the beast and the true name of he who conjured it. I then bath in my castle shower with baking soda so that the acid is neutralized. I then find Miss Lockheart and tell her that there is a thief afoot. "Lady Lockheart, go to the garden, inspect every muffin of every vine." I then draw a wizard's circle invoking once more words of power. The last words of my spell bend space and time. I then call out the thiefs true name.

He appears in the middle of the collesium. I stand before him, sword drawn. Says I, "Do you not know me? I am The Muffin Man!!! You Knew my warning, you have trasgressed. Now you Fight me."

I quickly inspect each muffin plant, which doesn't take long for my eyes are sharp- "What foul creature would try and deceive the Muffin Man with these base plastic imitations" (feeling the drama ^^)

Slightly shaken with the memory of the serpent (I was expecting Firesnake, not a real serpent, *goof*), I steel myself and join my master, ready for combat, Airblade in hand.

"I know nothing of these strange psychic forces you seem to use as weapons, but you will taste the reality of my blade soon enough."

On Top of the Mountain, a little away from Shanks. DA sits on a rock, the wind ruffling her big blue wings; polishing her shotgun.

"Lady Lockheart, do you wish to attack the Neophyte first? Or do you want to colapse that column over there on his head while I destract him. " Says I telepathically as i circle the left.

"The latter sounds fitting of a scoundrel such as he", says I.

*runs over to the column at full speed as the Muffin Man makes a compelling distraction* I can't help but look over my shoulder and wonder what my master is exactly DOING....

Aaaargh, I end up distracted myself, and bump into the column at speed, instead of simply knocking it down. Still, it achieves the desired effect as I see Neophyte crushed under its weight and trying to struggle free. (hehehehe)

*i reach into my armor and activate push a botton, infusing my arms with energy, and so i lift the column off my body*
*i throw a sleep & smoke bomb at ML, distracting her for a moment, which is enough for me to throw the column back at her with enough force to carry her off in the air and away, at which point i fire a missile at her, blowing her and the column into a thousand pieces*
*i then turn to zotar*
*beign a civilized man, i try dialogue first. . .after all, i AM an assassin. . .not a swordsman. . ."
"Harvester, im honored to meet you*bows down*. . .i hope i have not disrupted your sleep. . .now, as your probably bussy, i'll just take a handful of muffins and be off. . .why dont you return to your slee?. . .oh, your warning. . .true, true. . .but would you deny a fellow human being food when he's starving?. . ."
*i take the muffins, all the while keeping my eyes on zotar and alert should ML try anything*
*i slowly walk away from zotar, who isnt looking very friendly. . .*
"here, a present as penalty for my transgression*
*i conjure up a box wrapped in present-fashion(you know, fancy paper and all) and throw to zotar hoping to appease him. . .no unnecessary conflict need arising*
"and sorry for the mess( i wave my hand in the direction in which ML went up in pieces). . .but some one as great as you wouldnt hold a humble and honest man as me responsible, would you?. . .after, it was all in self defense"
*knowing the situation could get out of hand, i conjure up a shapeshifter being, who then looks at zotar and proceeds to transform into a version of zotar, complete with all of zotar's powers and abilities*
"why dont you unleash your anger upon this instead?"
*my hand goes to my back, pulling out an smoke bomb*
*i throw the smoke bomb, creating a distraction, which is enough for me to activate my teleportation (you learn a thing or two from fighting snakes, hehe) device and get back to the safety of my armored fortress*
*i watch as the present i hand zotar turns into a mechanical bug that saps all magic within zotar off, then renders his mind uncapable of processing thoughts, and finally immobilizes him. . .then the shapeshifter zotar moves on to finish off the original*

*walks in*
*cuts NF5's throat*
*saves the day*
*brings back the muffins*
