The Great Muffin Epic

This has got to be the craziest topic in existance, I had to put it in forum game form.

Stand I on a vast field that strecthes into virtual infinity. In my left hand I hold a seed. With a sword held in my right hand, I open a rift in the earth and drop the seed into its depths. The rift closes. I invoke the great magics of growth and nurishment using words of power. Out of the earth spring great vines bearing dark flowers. The flowers burst forth and the fertile land brings forth... em... muffins...
Says I, "This is my garden, I will give forth its fruits to those of noble heart and great deed. Those who steal from the vines will be cut down and banished from existance. Here i stand, Here I wait."

Let the games begin!!

Dammit you stole the momentum from my thread!!!! Never mind, I'll let you off this time

Miss Lockheart stands calmly on the Eastern edge of the battle field. With Airblade on my back and Astra at my side (yeah I found my old gun ^^), I watch with not one twitch, as the sacred garden arises ahead of me. I haven't eaten for many days now (except a few pieces of popcorn which were thrown at me), and the sweet temptation of the muffins on those branches leaves me questioning my own honour. Do I cave in to the pangs of hunger, or walk away with my conscience intact? Many times has my honour been tested, but not like this.

*cue a gust of wind from behind me* It's almost too much to bear!! I walk forward quietly, using all my strength to stay cool and calm, as I approach the keeper of the garden. He guards his patch well, yet his eyes beckon for a challenge (my god I can't write prose very well at all!! ^^)

Seeing no other challenger in sight, I decide to put honour aside and instead go with my survival instincts. If I lose this battle, I could very well die of hunger, and dead people have no honour.

With a graceful lithe movement, I unsheath my Airblade. "Zotar!!", I call, "will you deny a warrior her right to food??" And with a quick movement I run forward, Airblade held high, and with a clash that shakes the ground I open this epic battle....

(okies, feel free to kick my ass if I'm no good at this game )

Says I, "You could have asked nicely child. I would gladly give, but you seek to destroy me and take my garden from me. This is not tolerable, you must prove yourself another way." That said, I extend my will power to Miss Lockheart's weapon and force it aside. Says I, "For every muffin you take, you must bring me seven seeds and plant them in the place of a dying vine. But there is another option, help me care for this place and repell those forces would would seek to take and you will reap rewards." I stand awaiting the answer.

Hmmm, a guardian to this utopia of muffins, eh? I think on this awhile, as it seems to give me the best of both worlds- I can satiate my hunger whilst retaining my honour, I would be taking the muffins without stealing. A chance for me to show my worth as a warrior too...

"I accept"

I bow to my new master, hoping my Sensei doesn't decide to try and find this place, him being the greatest muffin stealer in the known universe. Sensei, I thank you for your training, let's hope it doesn't lead us to battle against each other....

"So what is my first task, Master? I know of a place where many seeds can be found". I hear a rumble in my stomach, but try to hide it for I must not show weakness.

Says I, "There is little yet to do, but there are dark times ahead. I knew this when I brought forth the muffins. The task for now is one of preparation. Fetch me some seeds, and feast on a muffin. With one seed I will cultivate a new vine while you tend the garden. Go now Lady Lockheart, bring me 7 seeds, worry not what kind, I will make do."
I then meditate to gather my energy for the task.

(OCC: I find it rather fun to type like this.)

Packing only the barest essentials (my Airblade and my muffin ^^), I set off to Mt Guija to seek the seeds required. Wish I could be meditating now, but what must be done, must be done...

And I'm off!!!

Naw... It's just a little fun...

With one of the seed gathered by lady Lockheart I begin invoking words of power, the seed begins to change and mutate while I channel energy into it. The spell comes to an end and in a bare patch of earth, I plant this new seed. Says I, "This one will take a while to grow, but once it bears fruit, it will repell evil. Fortunate that I have someone to help guard this field as I do... Wait... Where art thou?"

*Emerges from a shadowy corner of the garden* "here I am, I was watching your ritual from over there, didn't want to get in the way."

(oooh do my texts sound Bible-esque? Is that a compliment? )

"Of course I'll fulfill my duty to guard this garden, worry not. And now that I have spellchecker I can do an even better job!" ^^

*looks over the horizon* I don't see this muffin castle, I shall inquire of my master "where is the muffin castle?"
