If we are but a few, in some years from now, we will be plenty, if it all works. The Philosophical Psychological Twinky is quite valid just as much.
Hmm, twinkies.

Not the healthiest of choices though, id bring lots of jerky, and learn how to cook it too.

well the ideal choice is to grow our own fruit and veg sustainably (which i know how to do) and supplement our diet with what ever wild animals we can find. (thorughly cook them in case of contamination)

Rabbits are good food though. Breed quick, easy to rear, their Liver is especially good for you I heard. Tases sort of like baconey-chicken too. Which is nice.
New ideas- zombie custom weapons?

. . .i fight (and will die fighting preferably, thank you). . .give me 14 ppl, light armor (no samurai, i dont like the look of those guys. . .give me modern armor), heavy guns, a radio for communication, and some rations and other necessary items (night vision googles would come in handy i think). . .i can take a chopper or two w/ mounted machine guns and flamethrowers, and look for suitable places to inhabit as well as food. . .
. . .i will make it my mission to take my squad to all naval bases possible, clear them of the infected, and take any ships availiable (granted, i will need entire ship crews, but all in due time). . .(i really need to learn how spell ). . .we will use ships to house the pregnant women. . .in the sea, no infected can ever get to them unless they can walk on watter. . .or live under it. . .there will be plenty of sailors aboard, too. . .should, um. . .men. . .ever be needed. . .
. . .ships will also serve to carry food (fish should still be good to eat, i think) and ammo, raise children in a safe environment, transport oil, and a large fleet can become, in a sense, a city for us to inhabit. . .kind of like the solarians in mass effect. . .plus, ships will be used to carry bombarments against zombies. . .and aircraft carries can carry war jets to drop bombs on zombies lured to an stratigic location by groups of volunteers. . .
. . .you can leave the military stuff to me. . .i am loyal to our cause. . .

Priority #1 (for males and childless females): Protect the camp in general.
Priority #2: Protect pregnant females and children. (If everyone else dies, it woulld be impossible for at least the children to fend for themselves, and difficult for pregnant females)
Priority #3: keep order
Priority #4: Keep communications equipment safe and in good repair
Priority #5: Protect self
Priority #6: Kill zombies.
Other priorities have variable factors, and may be above or below certain items on the list, particularly kill zombies. Food, if we have renewable sources such as gardens and rabbits, ranks a low priority, but it is above priority #5 if we are low on food, or the gardens or rabit hutches are compromised. Also a low priority would be to scout for better locations for the camp, which hunting and gathering parties could do. Before being able to hunt and gather food, or even raise food, we would have to understand how the zombie plague is passed on (if animals or plants can be infected without becoming zombies, then allow the virus to affect humans who eat said plants or animals, that would be invaluable information). Until then, we would need to live off of canned and pouch food and (urgh) Hostess pastry products.
One of the reason;s I;m good at designing post-apocalyptic communities is that I let logic, and not morality, rule the simulations. Morality is useful, but one should not be constrained into doign something that would compromise the camp simply to do something that has a logical and moral cause based in the context of a pre-apocalyptic world. Typically, morals would hold, but there are instances where a couple of dozen people, and especially six or ten people, would have to prioritize differently than a group of six billion people. I was going to use an example based on the Crusades, but those were a bad idea in the first place.
As for armor, light armor would be good for a zombie hunter armed with a sword, knife, or blunt object (Gordon;s crowbar!), but heavy, solid armor would be best for the Porcupine armor, where one walks into the edge of a zombie horde with bladed armor and tries to do as much damage as possible. That would require greased and close-seamed armor with a layer of at least chainmail underneath, so the zombies could not pry the armor off and get to skin underneath.

I'm sorry I'm gonna cut you off here. At least what most other people have said are for the most part practical and realistic solutions. DO YOU personally know already hot to fly a helicopter, and pilot an aircraft carrier? assuming you can find one as you know the military would be using everything they had to protect their higher ups in the bunkers.
