Sounds like you've got a bad communication gap! If it helps any, I think you're
parents are wrong! Yeah, Yeah, they might think that they are messangers, Problem
is, they don't understand of whom!! It's tuff, been there done that. Try to remember
one thing, Parents are people too. They do make mistakes, they can be wrong.
Kids don't just "pop" out of the chute totting an instruction booklet.
Just do what you feel is right, eventually it will come together. good luck.

I'm not a particularily religious person. In fact, I'm quite the opposite. But you can't just say that the Christian faith is stupid, and then leave it at that. That's no better than saying "God is the holy father and is right, do as he says".

I think your parents are probably quite reasonable, and that if you just discuss with them how you feel, then they'll probably understand. If they don't, that's their fault, not the Christian faith's.

It's not stupid. It's just been manipulated too long.
The foundations are good, you know? Then it gets to the bit where you can't eat lobster. And discussing the forgiveness of God, and then going on about the "Devil", who is proof of the unforgiveness of him.

That's not true. God would give the Devil forgiveness, the devil just hasn't asked for it.

the problem is that i have talked to them about that they get very anrgy and i end up getting punished so i've now given up on it. To me its not worth me getting in huge trouble when i tell them they're wrong so now i'm just satisfied knowing that i'm right.

No, you seem to keep mixing prophets with priests, prophets spread the word of God, Priests ARE seen as connections, they are supposed to be able to communicate with the Holy Father, as is the Pope
