Making sigs and avatars - Final Fantasy Net

what is the best program to use. on the comp that i use i have photoshop 5.0and illustrator cs. Right now all i use i MSPaint because thats all i know how to use. I would be very thank full for any suggestions if you can give some or you can also just laugh and call me an idiot, or do both.

Um..Photoshop is better. Way better. It's confusing to getaround but ones you learn how to draw its better.
I would kill to have any version of photoshop

Isn't Photoshop CS free? Anyway, i have Photoshop Version 7, and it's by far the best graphic's program i've used. It's take's alot of Tutorial's to use though, i didn't know what some of the tool's were until i read a few tutorial's.

I dont think CS is free. I'm going to get ver. 7 today though.

It's only free if you hack it or get a key gen

I'm taking a class on it now so its a little better. I like making my sigs and avatars with photoshop. once you get to know the tools it is easier. I just need better fonts now though =)
