the retirement question
im a 100% sure you've heard this 1 before, but when do you plan to retire/leave from forums?
i usually stick if there is stuff to do or people to talk with. . .otherwise, i just wait to get rid of those annoying starting titles(like "newbie poster". . .i dont like it, but i've seen worst. . .). . .and then leave. . .visiting like once a week just to c if there is anything new. . .or i retire when i have spent a little 2 much time in a forum. . .like 2+ years. . .
when do you?

Hehehehehe what a question!
I really couldn't say. I've stuck around here a much longer time than I thought I would because I've made some great buddies, and now that I'm a trainee mod I will probably spend longer here, since there's a good chance that a new generation of people could join and some of the veterans make a return. What's a forum without its staff?
I'll probably say my goodbyes when all of my favourite people go, no telling when that could be!

I find every forum is different. I think it's no secret that most of us haunt the threads of more than one forum; but it is the purpose of our visits that determine how long we usually make recurring appearances. Some forums I visit to get the latest FF news, some of the really busy ones I visit to check out material such as the fan ficition and artwork. And then some, such as this forum, I usually stick around for a while longer because it's easier to get to know people and have some interesting conversations. I don't think I'll be retiring from here any time soon.

My recent sig was actually a present from someone on another forum (he's so cute!!), I wish I could make sigs, if I could I would set up a sig shop. Hey MF maybe you should make a sig shop...

That is my first forum and I'm willing to stay here as long as I just can. "If you choose things, be devoted to them" - That is one of my lifelaws. No, realy! I like to spend my time here. It is better than to stay at home and play Heroes IV or American McGee Alice or whatever........
And about titles - I realy like this thing. It is entertaining for me to moove to my next "pover-up" here. Besides, it would be nice if you guys make here something like VIP sector only for experienced posters (some closed threads or else).

Seriously, man!? Well, at least you would be leaving because of a legitimate reason, and not because of something like "You all are boring and I shouldn't have joined this forum two hours/years ago in the first place" or "I want to see who replies to my 'I'm Leaving' Thread". If you do have to leave, come back and visit when you have time!
I, for one, do not intend to retire from this forum. At east, not until it shuts down, which I hope is years from now. Or, and this is ridiculous, I decide to hate Final Fantasy and anyone associated wwith it (not gonna happen)
