Yeah it's VII, VIII and IX that are a pain in the ass. I don't know how I managed to get my mum FFIX brand new, it was so lucky that day I just saw it and got a preowned copy of FFVIII at the same time (which my mum bought off me just so she could say she owned all the FF games )
I'll keep an eye out at my local shops for any games people want, we should make a thread where people state what they are missing.

Yeah PS1 games are hard to find here as well. I had to buy FFVII again on ebay. Well just disc two. I paid 20 US bones for just the second disc!! But it was worth it as mine was broke and rendered the game useless.
I still want FFIV and FFVIII. Both games have been "loaned out" never to return..

That happened to my brother many times, luckily I've only actually owned about 4 games in my life so far, so I just don't lend them out!
PS1 games actually seem like they are harder to get in America than they are here in Britain, we have better retro sections in our gamestores

There was a thread like that, or at least one where people stated which games they had. i haven't seen it since the reorganization, though. And, at least where I am, the PS1 games aren't that hard to find (antique games/media store, pawn shop, guy who sells old games for ridiculously inflated prices through a local thrift superstore), though VII is above original list price and VIII is rising, too.
What I have problems with is the older games. I've been able to find only the FFI&II set recently and a remake of one of the ones with the wrong number for GBA. Never once seen a copy of FFXI.

At least in England the game shops are half decent, i think you have a half decent chance of getting some of those games Miss L. I wish i can say the same about Scotland, you should goto the Metro Center In Newcastle its a long trip but i go sometimes, I like there shops there games shops are about 3 times as big as any in Scotland.
