MSN heartache
Ok, I know bad karma has a lot to do with why I'm having trouble with this, but I'll see if anyone can help anyway. I got a live ID for MSN, which went fine, but then I installed Windows Live Messenger on my computer and it won't work properly. It just goes all "Not Responding" on me as soon as I log in. I can tell by the screen that it's not my ID that's to blame, because I do get logged into the thing (the little green guy at the bottom says so), but the program itself just crashes at that point. You guys know how technophobic I am, please help!!

So you finally got it huh 
As for the problem, this has never happened to me, One of the only things that works on my computer. I'd only suggest that you try and re-install it to see if that works.

I'm trying that at the moment. It actually looks quite different this time, I wonder if I installed the wrong thing somewhere. It didn't help that I installed Virgin PC Guard and had to uninstall that because it was killing my computer. I'll never laugh at my brother again

Ok I really thought it would work this time- what the hell is going on??? I just re-installed it, the process was completely different and it looked like it would actually work, then I logged in and *tumbleweed* Not Responding... 
Ohhh wait....I tried logging in again and it worked!!! It's working!! Halle-fricking-lujah!!!!

There seems to be alot of ways of getting windows live did you do it this way>>

I seem to be having a lot, I just dread the thought of remastering the thing, and then having to reinstall all these programes and my new internet
I like this MSN thing though! Addictive as it is
