It seems to happen here quite often. I guess we are just too boring, or too weird. But even though we are in small numbers, it is quite a formidable family.

The reason is twofold. For one, FFNet.org has been all but abandoned. We do not get many users hitting the main site anymore, which means we don't get many users wandering into the forum.

Second, there isn't a whole lot of activity here compared to other forums, so it's likely that new users get bored.

The fix? ... Either reawaken FFNet.org (which was never all that enormous to begin with) or merge. I'd be more than happy to give you all a space on KingdomHearts3, but I have a feeling you would all hate that very, very much. I think the true root of the problem is the lack of community buzz that Final Fantasy has had the past several years. There simply isn't that much to talk about anymore.

I would be interested to see how reimagining the main site would work. But I suppose even then it would still have fierce competition with the other huge sites out there. Seems pretty hopeless T_T

I'm still happy being here no matter how small the community, I'm close to you guys now. If there was a merger, I would accept simply because I would like to carry on that family, even in the realm of KingdomHearts3. Meh, whatever happens, I'm sticking around
