Yuri is a common name in the Ukraine as well as in Russia.^^
Hey I'm a newbie and I stuck around! I actually like it here, some forums the members are quite mean, but it doesn't seem the case at FF Net.

Not sure myself to be honest, I first heard of Yuri as a Russian name, before Japanese porn even came into it

I've always thought Yuri was just a Slavic name like Yuri Dolgoruki, but that may be because I'm not up to date on Japanese porn.
