The Guardian Avatar Thread Ver. 1.0
this is my own little contribution to you, since i never really post anything of relevance and certainly no games. . .
The point of the game is to create an avatar that represents all of us members, our tastes, and may be even values. We will build it from the ground up. We will address such traits as race, gender, class or profession, weapons, name, eye color, shoe size, magic type, and what ever else you feel like we should take on account. And should you wish it, we may attempt to contact an artist or a site to draw our character (although may be if we make our own attempts, we might have more fun and get better results).
here are the rules so everyone can play along.
1: When you post, state at the begining of your post what trait of the character you are addressing and what your suggestion is. Do not address more than one trait at a time (an exeption follows in rule #2).
i.e.: "i would like the race of the character to be guado"
2: A trait will be done with once 3 or more different members have settled on what that trait should be. If you are the last member to vote and agree on a certain trait, then you may introduce a new trait (but no more than one).
i.e.: "i also agree that the race should be guado. since im the third person to vote guado, i now want to talk about what weapons it should have/use"
3: The Golden Rule: nothing is completely settled for. At the end of the game/project, we will revise it to make sure every one is as satisfy as possible. Also, if this first one is successful, we can then try another one (Ver. 1.1?)
if you have any questions, let me know. . .it may sound complicated, but its rather easy to follow along once you've posted a few times. . .take note that it is also easy to get off topic/trait, so keep an eye on that. . .this in order to keep order and structure and prevent the thread from breaking down into chaos. . .which is one of the things i try to avoid with this little project/game.
finally, im unsure as to where this fits. . .i personally like to think of it as a game, but its more of like constructive project between members, so i think we should get credit for the posts we make (post count). . .but i'll let the higher ups decide as they see best. . .
