Chess-by-mail (sort of)

Okay, you know how, from back when people had patience, there used to be games of chess (and other board games, but usually chess) where two people mailed the coordinates of their next move to the other person, and even tually they would have played an entire game through? Well, this is pretty much the same idea, only it is via this thread (or possibly PM, and this thread is just the signup sheet) and whatever strategy board games (Chess, go, backgammon shoji, parchesi, even checkers) you feel comfortable playing. Don;t worry that it'll take a long time, that is the point. But, if anyone wants to offer or accept a challenge, go right ahead (games of chance, such as that include a spinner, cards, or dice, tend not to work well, so no candyland or yahtzee). I suppose the coordinates of the board will have to be agreed upon at the acceptance of the challenge. So, anyone up for a game of [board game of choice]?

Yeah, it would, but this is also for other games, and the point is as an exercize of patience. Also, if someone has to leave the forum for a while it'll be a pleasant surprise for whatever games theyt were in the middle of playing to pick up where they had left off. Just an idea.
