Forum, um, decreasing-ness

Has anyone noticed a distinct drop in forum activity in about the past week, week and a half? because for a while it seemed that the forum was just in a low point, but instead of slowly cycling back into increased forum activity, it dropped. like a rock in a vacuum. Even the forum games are being neglected, which is odd, because there have been times where the forum games were all that was keeping this place alive. Can anyone see a connection between the drops in acivity, or am I just imagining this?

I'm so so sorry about it, but I haven't been as active lately either because of how unpredictable my computer has become, and having to borrow my mum's laptop to write music (she won't let me enable it for the net )

Plus I just found out that my interview for Uni is on March 10th, and you know what....I GOT NOTHING!!! I'm gonna have to pull a few late nights to get some decent material together for the interview, I'm kinda in panic mode at the moment.

But I do try and at least view the forum in order to check for naughtiness, spam etc, as I should. I noticed the void aswell and I hope it's only temporary.

Hmm...JET, your concern is extremely touching, like, on an online based way.

Everyone has their reasons, and I must admit that with myself, I have been doing nothing but drinking on my own and playing Final Fantasy VII...I will attempt and cease my neglect, because there are members who care about here.
And, I do as well-just no motivation lately. Hold on the bit, I will come up with some mindless philosophy or something for the weekend.

I do not want to let our little online refuge die.

You know how when you pluck the string of a guitar, and it reverberates?… The string is very active for an exciting period of time; it has a lot of movement, and it makes a big noise. However, over time, the string begins to quiet down, and the string calms.

But… it’s never too long before the string is struck again, and liveliness returns.

From what I’ve gathered, this forum seems to have had a cycle of experiencing ups and downs, so I wouldn’t worry too much. I think this is an awkward time of year for most people, everyone is busy. I’m sure things around the forum will pick up again soon. I hope.

Yeah. I wasn;t blaming anyone. Just wondering if anyone else had noticed, or if it was just my paranoia, and, I guess, expressing concern for the forum and the people it links here.

indeed, this place has went through many dead zone phases. Some much worse then this, where I even forgot about coming here for weeks.

And these dead zones are like doing the laundry.
Unfortunately, yes, it picks up again as said above and that is great; but we also lose members, just like we always lose socks in the dryer...whence it rises again, I hope all the current members will still be there.

We lost Cat eye and Dawn last year...

Wise admited, Jet. I noticed it too. It's a period of time for me when I must finish my work (in 35 pages) so I'm not very active...

It is a first time I see such low activity here......uh......Dead zone phases, Termie? So it's not the first time, huh?
