. . .you know you want to tell us why you choose your awesome username, so feel free to write why, how, and when here (ok, so may be just the "why"). . .

. . .me?. . .well, neofighter5 is a actually a little change to the original i had in mind which was "neofalco5". . .see, i like the word "neo" cuz it sounds cool, "falco" cuz that's my fav character in the star fox series, and the # 5 is just cool number. . .unfortunately, i forgot my password for this username and so i registered again, changing the word "falco" with "fighter"(for no real reason other than it started w/ the letter "f"). . .i think it has a sort of rhyming sound when you say it all together "neofighter5". . .but that's just me. . .now, i change my name from time to time (why? cuz i grow bored of seeing the same name all the time. . .just as i get bored with the same avi or sig after a while. . .) and so now it's "Sularus". . .which means (i think) honor. . .in some. . .language. . .dont be surprised if i get it changed next year. . .however, i still use "neofighter5" in the first forums i joined in. . .

I picked JET73L because IRl, I go by my first and middle initial (J.R.) A while back, I was playing soem PS2 games, one of which was a jet racing game (Powerdrome), and the other that had a 3-character maximum because it was based on an arcade game. Since I was really into Megatokyo at the time (the first few chapters, since then it's gone downhil), and learned L337sp34k from Largo and L337d00d, I decided that instead of it saimply being JET, I would use J37. When I joined KH3 (and, shortly after, this forum), there was a minumum of more thaqn 3 characters, so I decided I may try a mirror flip. JET became JET|73L, without the dividing line (though it should have been JET|T3L, but I didn;t like that much. It is a mirror image, because I write capital Es as a backwards 3.) Since then, I;ve come toi identify myself as JET73L, and use it for all forums and most online names.

By the way, it;s pronounced Jay-ee-tee seven-three ell. I like how it sounds when said with the proper rhythm.

I'm not even gonna attempt to explain mine.

But if I could go back and change it i would probably change it to something football related as is my name on most forums nowadays. Faddy, Coisty, NachoNovo, but I have yet to find the perfect username for me.

Yeah, THe only things to go by more easily than doing a profile of one's character and attempting to judge which forum member they are is Avatar, Sig, and name. Avatar and Sig are changeabnle, so while I tendto go by avatar, I have to use the name as a backup if an avatar is changed. It's just a name, but if people could hopscotch/bodyswitch in the method of the Andersen book, a name would tend to be the most easily recognizable thing about a person, uinless they have any really, REALLY obvious mannerisms. It;s the same thing here.
