I think I would help build it too.
I think there is some mathematical formula... the buoyancy of helium versus the weight of the structure, factoring in the local barometric pressure which is Dependant on the climate and altitude. Woah... I need to look that up...
I just remembered a story that is pretty much in my own back yard. once a year, a dude from this town straps a whole load of party balloons to his lawn chair and floats up and out. He made it to Idaho this year. Its true. Took a lot of balloons though.

Wondering how i lost a whole day on one miss spelled word in my programming and thinking...
that its great I do not play FFXI anymore and be sitting there wondering what really happen to the day still in my pj's at 9pm...
What do none computer people do with there 18 hours or so a day ?

Listening to the Happy Video Game Nerd's review of Nightshade, reading the Funny Aneurysm Moment pages of TV Tropes (nowhere near as un-depressing as it sounds), and realizing that logging in to FFNet was exactly what I needed to get to where sleep will happen very soon. : P
Also reading some webcomic about a bunch of dysfunctional (read: murders at the drop of the hat) crew of a cinema.

OMG I just had a total blonde moment. I just spent about two minutes trying to figure out why I couldn't get my jacket off of my body, it was unzipped and everything... finally I realized I still had the hood over my head. Gee, that worked. LOL
