Hurrah! It's Autumn

Today, September 21, is the first day of autumn, my favorite time of the year. The fall is a great time of year, things start to cool down and speed up at the same time, and lots of holidays ahead.

So anyways, I feel like changing my signature for one season (three months) in order to celebrate the best part of the year. From today until the first day of winter on December 21 my signature will be the following:

I dedicate this to all of my friends on the forum. Note that I had a limited amount of dedications, so I do apologize to anyone on the forum who might have been left out… but it was completely unintentional and with absolutely no malice behind it whatsoever. But I think I got the regulars anyways. But the true spirit of this temporary tattoo is a tribute to ALL of my friends here on the forum who work together to make this quiet corner of the web such fun. So… this one’s for all of you.

I will return to this thread on the first day of winter to change the signature back to what I originally had. And guess what? *nudge nudge wink wink* That day will also be my birthday, so it will be PARTY TIME and you are all invited. Enjoy.

Well...I have raved about Autumn on Sorrow's Elegance so much...but I really do love the season, I wish it would never end.
I particularly love those sort of cloudless days, where the sky is blue and the Sun very bright, but how the weather is so cold that you need to wear near Winter like clothes.
And of course, Halloween, and it still reminds me of when I first played Castlevania Symphony of the Night, on one of those cold and windy October days where all the leaves have fallen.

And quite right, it is a very pleasant time of year...I also love the end of Autumn, when the snow begins to fall, this is nice too. I will not be doing much, most likely some Halloween party somewhere, otherwise I shall decorate my porch with Jack 'O Lanterns-on the actual day of Halloween, at that.

I never do much of anything, but one thing that has not been lost as I grew up along with the anticipation of Halloween which made my personal significance to Christmas a thing of shame is to recognize the soul of Fall.
I can never explain it, but I can sure feel it. And to think that I was born during the Spring, bleh. XD

Also I like the signature, and I get to be Scarlet! She was one villain in FFVII I wish they would have elaborated upon. Anyways, nice choice for character to user attribution, it seems to fit quite well.

Is that good or bad? Are we power hungry megalomaniacs? Well I am anyways so, Happy Autumn all!

And of course, yall knew only so many posts would go by before I start rambling on about Symphony of the Night again. Now I feel like playing it. ^_^

Yes, this Halloween I am planning on doing something fun with my friends... I would like to do what JET is doing and make my own costume... but I have no idea what. I am running out of time so I better start thinking about it.

I need to get a pumpkin.

I like the warm weather, but I too like brisk autumn days. I like the weather best when it's still before that winter coat part of the year... when you can go out when it's cool with just a sweater and scarf.

And all the leaves are changing colour... puuuuuurdy.

I need a costume as well, but I have no money to either make or purchase one...I wanted to be a pregnant nun, but I think I will have to be a non Goth person, or like, dress all in pink or something.

So what kind of costume do you think you will have? And how many pumpkins? I am going to try an experiment, and see what a black light or red light looks like inside, if I can manage this.
But also, nothing beats the traditional candle...I think I want to replicate the pumpkin from the Halloween II slasher film, that might be neat.

I like to try and keep my signatures for a long time, because they are usually meaningful to me in some way and they forge an online identity, but I must admit it is fun to shake them up every once in a while.

But sooooooooome people seem to change them A LOT *cough cough Firesnake *

I'm still debating on a costume... it will most likely be something video game related, prob a FF character or something. You know, cause I'm a complete nerd. XD

Indeed, this is one reason my signatures always seem to remain for such a long time. I always make them with something special in mind, and when I think of changing it, I just cannot.
They do not define me as a user, or at least, this should be secondary, but it usually does mean something personal for me, kind of like drawing I guess. It is easy to interpret emotions and the like through something you enjoy, like a video game, so they tend to grow on you, somewhat. >_>

Oh and I have a whole lot of rubber skeletons that glow in the dark which I have collected over the years, I will use these too, to decorate the balcony.

Not to mention the Corpse Bride window paint drawing I already have in my living room window, heh.

I've been hit with some unexpected financial downs this Autumn (I always forget about my home insurance until the last minute, and now my mum needs me to help pay for her holiday >.< quite funny since she didn't put anything to mine but nvm...), so my Halloween and Christmas will be a lot lower-key than I was hoping. Sucks

I still want to get a different Halloween costume for my son though, I'm gonna see what I can do that's gonna be great for as little money as possible. And making one for myself is pretty much out of the question now >.<
