Well, it has come earlier then last year...of course, it seems to be all but melting now, however there is quite an amount of it.

I like snow, and Winter, and the first appearance of snow always cheers me up.

We had a snowfall a few weeks back in mid october, and we're due more on Friday brrrrrr its cold here.

I think we had one day of snow last year, it was very short lived. I hope this year my son might actually see some good snow, he hasn't had the joy of playing in it yet.

I do love snow, it's my favourite weather, it couldn't be further away from summer. I do much better in cold weather!

We had no hope anyway, our team is just not what it used to be. Besides, we'd probably get kicked out by Portugal AGAIN if we get that far. Disallowed goals, etc etc....

Oh jeez, went off topic again. Yep, snow, cool! If I could afford it I would hire a fake snow machine, and fill our back garden with fake snow, just to see what Jonny thinks.

I'm looking forward to the snow this year gives a new look to our school, it also gets us off school sometimes.

As long as this year isn't a repeat of last year when one of the school buses crashed.

That sounds pretty awful! I was once in an incident when the bus got stuck in the snow on the way to school, we had to get out and walk the last mile.

But the atmosphere that snow creates just can't be beaten, it's so fresh and pretty, to put it in female terms

Wednesday afternoon we had that cool snow where the snow clumps into feathery goose-down shapes, the ones that look like fluffy feathers. Called Tsubasa no <something> in japanese, and something starting with a G, with lots of As in it in icelandic.
