In Remembrance
Just thought Id make a post in memory of those who gave their lives in the great war that ended 87 years ago this day, despite your opinions on the war and its pointlessness, the fact remains that many of our brave men went out to defend this country against its enemies.
May they all rest in peace.

an entire generation swept away so one man could stop another man from owning some more land.

Such is the folly of man.
*sigh* I didn't even know it was today..I knew it was soon, but school didn't tell us.
Wonder if we'll have a moment?
Haha, edit: I forgot it was the 11th. I thought today was the tenth

"For today they gave thier yesterday"
The silence in school was so..different..
The whole school has never been completely silent with everyone in it ever, not even for the last silence we had. It was amazing..And with Mr Stephenson playing his trumpet. We even had people related to the war in, and stuff..Someone fell over and got back up without making one sound.
It shall be a miracle if it ever happens again.

We didn't have a silence. Then again, I didn't go to a lesson at 11.00, so, who knows?

I had a silence. it was an oddly eerie one as well. It was so windy outside, yet it didn't make a noise.

due to my timetable, I was on the road driving to uni when the time came around, I watched it count down on the car clock and turned the music off and thought about it for a minute or two, not much but it was the best I could do
