what everyone has to now realize is, honest opinions aren't really insults towards you. you can protect what you think, but you don't have to comment on everything said about you. well, I suppose some are easily offended, taking initiative on what's said about them. it shouldn't matter, well, my opinion. anyways, Kain's done the most serious posting in this thread. maybe a little silly to state the obvious, but I'm honestly not in the right mind-set to say anything myself, eh. I'll compose my opinions, most definately later.

Kain, there is a thin line between honesty and cruelty; I certainly find your citing Angel as being tactless a trifle hypocritical! While there may be some truth to some of your comments, is there a need to be so candid about your views?

We're all here to have a nice time, surely? Not here to bitch and hold grudges. I realise this is, however, not always possible, but let's try to avoid unnecessarily aggrevate people.

I commend the rest of you on your mature responses to Kain's post.

I dont think they were altogether mature responses, i think in parts people were rather spiteful towards Kain, I think he was right to be honest, as it IS the OPINION thread

he was a little bit careless about information that he revealed to everyone. circumstances can arise that you had not (previously) thought of. the point is that it takes only so little of a false step to make your opinion altogether different from what it was. it is impossible to foresee all implications of your actions. peering through my fingers at what I suspect will inevitably turn out the way I'm afraid it would from the initial opinions of Kain, we'll see people defending themselves over a few opinions he had. in order to meet the needs of our members, it is necessary first to identify them in a dignified, acceptable manner. not that he's at fault, we would just like to prevent some of these rude comments that could've been worked out more tastefully.
