What do you mean "Everyone would be on it"? and "so you could all chat at once"?

Everybody would be on it because we would advertise it, and when someone posted something it would get replied to straight away, dont you think it would be good for EVERYBODY to chat at the same time?

1) If we advertised our site (which we do already) and it yeilded enough new members, how on EARTH could we get them ALL ONLINE AT THE SAME TIME? Regardless, that's not what a forum is for anyway, that's a job for an IM.

I dont mean advertise the site, I mean advertise the celebration thread on the site.
If a guest is on the website looking for something and they see that we have made a celebration thread for getting 100 users, they might like the looks of the site and register.
How would it like the forum itself? If the forum itself was the same as this, every user would reply to every thread, on the celebration thread, if we advertised it then every user would go onto the thread and post replies, and:
1.It could be the longest thread ever, another acheivment.
and 2.It would be a great thread for FF and general chat for people to go on.

Nah forget it, Im starting to see your point, but I dont see why you started an argument about it, we were only thinking of ideas for some sort of celebration.
Anyway, keep the ideas coming.
