Anyone inspire you when you were a child?

Well for me there was one person who did to me in my opionion the person who inspired me was a dear old friend. She was always strong in whatever she did. I wanted to be just like her when I grew up lol and eve though she's gone she'll always be here.

well asides from people i Personally know a lot of authours inspired me when i was a child and suprisingly they wernet shakespeare edgar poe e.t.c they were just common fantasy /scifi writers like terry prattchett /ursula le guin arthur c clarke and so many others that its almost unbelievable but its the fantasys they wrote that inspire me today to be a writer (unsuccesful or not) and give me dreams of what the future could hold

I realy cannot recall anyone who directly inspired me to become a student or anything, guess I havent really done that much at the moent. My parents have always been great, whatever ive done, but im the first in my family to go to uni so i really have no direct role models to look up to i suppose, quite a few of my lecturers have influnced me greatly, just seeing how intelligent and well read they are, and how nice people they are in general kinda inspires me to be an academic.
