Concerning the Departure Threads.

I am completely convinced that anyone who makes it a public announcement via thread to make it known that they are leaving will always come creeping back in the forums to come and check what the members have to say about it.

Even if they ARE Son of Sephiroth and VITG.

Because otherwise, I do not understand why people would make such threads.
If one really wants to depart, they simply do so, and will not leave a trace behind. They will say their goodbyes to their friends through chat or PM.

All this, I believe, is common forum psychology, It is not an established field, but I am getting some inspiration here.

You guys just want attention. I may be wrong, of course. But I really hope not.

So, come in here, flame me, praise me but...goddamnit, someone, anyone, do SOMEthing! This place has been so bloody boring lately.

I want attention as well. I am acting all mean and obnoxious and know it all, but in reality, I am only saddened by the departure of some very fun members.

And I do not care if you dislike most of the people here Snaggle Tongue, you know we all worship you.
