What's the problem with making them? A lot of the clothes can be easily found or adapted from existing clothing, the hardest problem is stuff like swords, shields with the right crest on, pendants. Though good-looking swords can be expensive, pendants are cheap and shields can be easy to fake.

I'm just not that good with cutting and all the stuff put in to it. I definitely cudn't make a sword or keyblade. Wudn't be able to get a suitable wig either

I went to a friend's birthday party that was cosplay (not fancy dress, it had to be game character..) and I ended up as aeris, after swapping costumes with someone else..
