My life is listening to music, going out with my friends, and scratching, scraping and cutting my wrist. Ha ha I want the shirt at hot topic that says "Finding Emo"

See, this is exactly what I dislike about the "Emo crowd," they do--and I'm not trying to judge you or 'dis' you, or anyone for that matter--stupid, self-destructive things like cutting their wrists. For me, that's a little bit TOO extreme. If Emo and "cutting" goes hand in hand, and being vocal about it like it's something to be proud of, I mean... Um... crazy person says what?

I am fond of emo music it sounds ok but the whole whrist thing.
That's crazy even for me (and that says a lot cause I planted a fork in my leg)

The majority of emos that I know are narcissistic idiots just looking for attention.

Prove to me that more than 75% of emos have REAL problems, and I wont diss you :P

Shiii man I have problems and dont stoop as low as to Cutting my wrist...I just can't see how it helps. I look at it this way my wrists can't bleed enough to make up for my pain and that and I can't stand trying to hurt myself...Now i did go through a period where i took a mechanical pencil and sharpened the lead to a point and carved words into my arm...*Not real carving just enough to peal the skin off and the area to swell* Luckily I grew out of it.

I'm not really a problametic person.
I've no intention 2 hurt myself.
The worst I've done is stab a fork in my leg but that was because I thought it was paralized. (hadn't felt it for 4 hours)
It left a pretty neat scar but it truly hurt like hell.
so kids: don't do drugs don't do too much alcohol and don't cut yourselves.

Emo is a new trend, and really nothing more. The self mutilation is nothing but accessory.

All that bragging about sticking forks in your legs or making your wrists piss blood is pretty much proof of that.

Some people with real problems or suicidal tendencies who decide to physically deal with the outburst of ''negative'' emotion would make those Emos who barely make themselves bleed cry in terror.
That is, if they actually SPOKE about it, or let it be otherwise known. This is not something to be proud of, and it disgusts me that this trend would take away the attention from those whom it might actually help to stay alive, or find a better alternative with which to deal with things.

I highly doubt that a psychological condition and response to sorrow or fear can be classified as a ''trend'', not when one considers the magnitude of true self mutilation.
