Default Hum...Truly Bored?

Greetings all.

What is the most asinine and purposely absent minded thing you have done-in the name of Boredom?

I have, just now, sent myself a private message. To see if it would work...and it does.

But instead of wondering why, I thought I would share this and quickly go. I think my PlayStation has cooled down enough...more Odin Sphere for me!

So...share your...exploits, regarding said subject.

*Escapes.*

My boredome antics usually consist of either drawing something or trying to teach myself a song on the piano by listening to it over and over again and repeating tiny lines until I've got all the way through (which, most of the time, doesn't work because it gets me annoyed when i can't figure the difficult parts out, so i turn my keyboard off. >.<) ...I dyed my hair bright pink once out of boredome. But i think that was more boredome of my natural hair colour (i hate it) AND that actually turned out to be a pretty good idea because it was my birthday 2 days later and we went bowling in fancy dress, then took a trip into town...So not only did you have Santa strolling around town weeks before Christmas, but there was some freak with bright pink hair and fairy wings with him. (That's kinda beside the point, but i babble when I'm bored, too...Could you tell? :S)

...Rant over...

Hum...Christmas fairies with pink hair!

And babbling is fine. Especially if you were bored...somewhat more enlightening then my forum experiments, anyway.

I've been known to sit around and hit "Refresh" on the same website for long periods of time. It doesn't provide nearly as much entertainment as masturbation or napping, but it does work when laziness takes over.

*Laughs!*

Taking a nap is too much for when you feel lazy?

When I am truly bored, I will go on Google, and try to get only one hit. The closest I have ever got is 'killer rabbit attacking an orphanage gruesomely devouring orphans until america returns fire on the alaskan frontlines'. It got 9 hits.

I hope I reach the one hit before I die, else the boredom would have been for nothing.

I have spent hours cycling through every thread listing page on every forum on my favorites list waiting for updates, and every webcomic on my favourites list, also waiting for updates. Then repeated. Then repeated. Then repeated, this time going to four or five random strips in each comic.

I've also looked up an article on Wikipedia, usually about a game or one of the aforementioned webcomics, and attempt to go through as many pages as possible by going through the most interesting link on a page. I have currently made it from researching powers from the show "charmed" to an article about "That 70's Show".

As for the one hit on google, I got closer without even trying. I looked up some first-person shooter, plus only one adjective, and unfortunately came up with only six results and no omitted results. I think it was Metroid Prime.

I also like babbling, random threads of thought. It's fun what you can think of when not thinking of anything in particular. Or not thinking of something in particular. Don't think of polar bears sometime. It's fun.

Learning while being bored, about anything, is rather a good and constructive way to waste one's time.

Even if it is about powers from Charmed.

I do that too sometimes, but it usually merely degenerates to looking up artwork from Castlevania.

I am not sure that I understand that final bit about polar bears, however...

Well, I have this thing where I have like 20 different forums out at once, it's rather ridiculous. I'm well-known for having at least 15 tabs or so open at once (a game, music, forums, Photoshop, PSP, a film, uTorrent, etc etc), and also looking for new magazines to subscribe to, like The Wave, The New Yorker, and many many more. So really, I just buy shit, to tell you the truth. I'm pretty fucking intelligent and too perfect to do something like, say...PM myself (only kidding, but seriously, seek help hmm?).

Oh, I got one, a real good one. Sorry in advance for the scroll bomb...

I read this thread.
