Default Nex

Don't know where to put this, thought General Board was the best place I couls find, but this is about the NEX (upgraded NES, can play Famicom games, can use most original and specially updated peripherals.) $60, I like a lot of NES games, and weren't some Final Fantasies originally released for Famicom? Basically, against a $20-$30 original NES (with a short-term guarantee if it doesn't work at all, but no guarantee of replacement or if it works poorlY), Which would you choose? Would the NEX be worth buying in the first place?

I have never heard of it before, but should I find it, I would probbaly get it, that is if it indeed works better then the original NES. I would love to play some of the old Nintendo games again..
And yes, the first Final Fantasy was originaly for Nintendo. Some other ones might have been on Nintendo in Japan, but the first one is the only Nintendo one we have.
Of course, one could get a Wii and play all the old Nintendo games again (As well as all other Nintendo console games, plus TurboGrafix 16, which is why I would like one.) but if one should be worried about the cost, maybe this Nex thing is not too bad at all.

I no longer have an original Nintendo, and all the ones I ever had worked like utter crap, but I would probably get this. Still, one still needs to locate the games as well...
