Is there life on other planets? Simple answer? Yes. The universe is so amazingly massive, so incomprehensibly large that the odds of another habitable planet being in existence is as close to 1 as you'll find. Ofcourse, nothing is certain, but this is one of those things where the answer is pretty obvious. Unless ofcourse, Intelligent Design was true and God only made one planet.

I believe there is. Even if the planet only has plants on its surface, or even nothing but bacteria, it is still life.
To me, such is the most realistic approach, however, considering that man has been like, nowhere in space, as mentioned before, the possibilities are endless, as well as unimaginable.

*Coughs.*
Idle hands make for the Devil's work...but instead of consuming burning nutmeg, I thought I would to bring about a new subject, if I may.
The Necronomicon
Mwaaahahaha..cough cough. Damn nutmeg...
Very well then.
As I understand it, the meaning of the word stems from Latin, meaning, more or less, ''Concerning the Dead''.
So, the Book of the Dead is actually a fantasy work by Howard Phillipe Lovecraft.
It is not REAL. Although its origins might have loosely been influenced from the Malleus Maleficarum, or perhaps other cultural works which may present absolute grim and disturbing matter, what is included in the Necronomicon, is not from any legitimate legend or myth, but all comes from one man's mind. (Although still based from other myth, especially Egyptian. Keep such in mind for the bamboozlement.)
All the demons and places are fictional works. Despite that, he would have claimed that the subject from his work came from dreams and worlds he had visited, including the Al Azif, the Arab word for Necronomicon. (Meaning Nocturnal Whispers, which was attributed to horny crickets and the like.)
This is just my opinion, (About its claims of existence.) but the fact remains. People always confuse this book as being something real, hidden somewhere in the Vatican or some such thing. People are confused and convinced of its authenticity due to familiar elements in actual history, and the apparently nonsensical title of the book. It is Latin, but to this day, specialists are not quite sure of its actual translation.
But that goes for most bastard Latin, does it not?
I have a rendition of this book at home, and what, apparently, is said to contain. (And no, 'tis not made of human bone and skin and writ in human blood, as the original is said to be.) Spells, incantations, and everything. No, I have never tried it, and although I believe in the consideration of the existence in which I do not believe, I am not wanting to attempt a spell or what have you out of fear, but because I know it to be a waste of time.
Apparently, some versions of this book can be found in five museums in the world...I cannot explain that, aside from the heavy hoax history that this myth has created within the fans of HP Lovecraft. They must all think they are Nyarlatotep or some such thing...
So then, speak of this fabled book. Is it real, a work of fiction, have you tried anything, and so forth...*Waving hand gesture.*

The one you have might just be government propaganda to cover up the exististance of the real one. (Umm that is if there is a real one.) Just thinking out loud.
