I haven't played enough singularly exceptional RPGs to easily make a full list, but FFVII and FFX, both PS2 KH games (CoM is worth playing but not that good), the arcade version of Gauntlet, and (don't hate me for this just because this is a Final Fantasy forum) some of the Legend of Zelda games (mainly the two N64 ones, haven't played TP yet). DQVIII Really deserves to be on the list in my opinion, but it was slow in some parts, excessively fast in others, had stupid if funny enemies, and tended to freeze. Repeatedly. Especially during the final bosses and the ending FMV. Okay, I see their point. It's still worth buying.
PS: Nintendo got a lot of grief about the new name for the former Nintendo Revolution. Did they really have to name the first LoZ game for the Wii Twilight Princess, considering that LoZ games go by their initials?
