Yeah, I must agree with you there. There have been countless cases of people stating 'Not enough character development' or 'The main character is dick head' etc.
Just because its political side of things, people tend to stray away from this game. At least this game doesn't have a so called villain who wants to do one of two things: Destroy the world. Or rule it. It makes a change for once, that this FF is different on many accounts.
And hey FFGuy.

Exactly. It frustrates me when people complain that the plot is weak, or that there is no plot at all. There's a very substantial plot with a lot of real world relevance, it's just not loaded with existential sci-fi nonsense about a witch compressing time into a single moment to rule the universe, or some silver haired psychotic summoning a moon rock to become a God (which makes sense...)
Hell they even threw in that kind of story at the end with the Occurians and Vayne, just to appease the numpties.
The worst thing is that the battle system gets criticised, even though it's easily the best in the series. Next time I see someone complain that 'they do the fighting for you' I'm going to remind them they have the right to do it manually if they choose..
