Rules of the Forum, Please Revise.
New comers and regular members alike, please do take a moment for this thread.
As it was pointed out to me that the rules thread was gone, most likely in the forum face lift from last year, I have decided it was high time for a little update. So please take the time to read through these. They are not hard to remember, and will indeed ensure a peaceful and enjoyable time in the forums.
We are not dictators or tyrants, in fact we are rather easy going and do not mind the occasional rift raft-mostly, I just ask that the people who come and post here use common sense.
Spamming
While nobody is going to frown upon spamming, (One word posts, going off topic.) please do try and keep it to a minimum.
Advertising
Do not advertise ANYTHING within this site. Not in threads or signatures. If you really wish to do as such, you shall require permission from the site owner. Please run it through the staff before doing so.
Flaming
No flaming anyone, period. You may disagree and constructively back up an argument or opinion, however name calling, insulting or bashing one because of their beliefs, racial ethnicity, social and or sexual orientation, culture and what have you is forbidden.
If someone flames you, do not retaliate, as this brings nothing. There are enough moderators, and we will take care of the incident, and warn the poster in question. If you retaliate, you will be warned just as well. I do not care who's fault it is or who started it.
Feel free to PM one of us if you are being flamed or see flaming occurring.
If you are being attacked through private messaging, please let one of the moderators know, and we shall act accordingly.
We do not want any flame wars here, and they will be put out upon the spot.
Also, do not threaten anyone in any way, for any reason.
Inappropriate Subject Matter
Do not post links pertaining to pornography, gore oriented pictures or photos of dead people or animals.
Also, please keep the swearing to a minimum. Remember, there ARE minors who attend our site.
Necro Posting
Generally, necro posting is rather frowned upon, however, know that here, it is not such an issue.
There are however, some rather fair guidelines to consider. If you are going to revive an old thread, please ensure that you have something worthwhile to add to the discussion. Do not answer by such mundane content such as ''yes I agree'' or ''it's a good game''. One who revives an old thread for nothing will be subjected to a warning. As well, please have some decency and common sense, do not revive old threads from 2005 asking the posters if Seiphiroth is awesome or what.
We shall allow necro posting, but make sure it is worth it.

As you can see, we are all easy going people, and want everyone who comes through the door to enjoy themselves, just remember, common sense solves a lot of stupid and immature issues.
However, should these rules be broken or ignored, the staff holds the right to send the offenders warnings, or to ban them upon the spot. Either permanently, or temporarily. This is left to the discretion of the staff members.
We reserve the right to delete any threads or posts which disregard the rules.
These rules are certainly not difficult to remember, and as you can see, there are no grammar Nazis or stay on topic reinforcements-there should therefore, by all rights, be no problems at all.
