Riku's KeyBlade
I have couple questions concerning Riku's KeyBlade in KH2.
1. When did he get it? It never really tells you when or how, he just has it.
2. Does anybody find it weird that his Way to Dawn KeyBlade looks a lot like his Soul Eater sword from KH, KH CoM, and even the beginning of KH2.
If you have any theories about this subject Please send them.

The Soul Eater, like Sora's keyblade, modified between CoM and KH2, it turned into Way to Dawn. So they are the same. It never specifies when it transforms, but one can assume that it changed once he chose the path to Dawn at the end of CoM

Ya but it shows Riku's Soul Eater in KH2. It would have to have been after Sora fought in the Land of Dragons since he did not use his keyblade but his sword instead.

I don't ever recall them showing the soul eater in kh2 besides the opening. Maybe you're confused with Way to Dawn, cause they look almost the same

When you fight the hooded man on your second trip to Mulan's World "Which is definetly Riku."look at the Weapon he is using.

That's true, it is Soul Eater... It must modify after he transforms back into regular Riku

Yeah it must reflect his true self when his appearance changes. Off topic, but I'm still wondering if Ansem the Wise is actually dead cause it seemed strange, considering his body dissappeared entirely. After all, anything could've happened
