We have standard news articles posted up multiple times a day by our news team. We came here to post. You, obviously, came to this thread to spam or start some sort of inter-forum arguement. Gtfo.

It just seems to me that you have come here and just talked a lot about how much better your site is to ours. If that is not your intention, that is how it appears.

Anyway, yes proper grammar and spelling is something everybody should know, but the fact is quite a few members are younger children and are still learning these fundamentals.

I was giving an example, you can find many other places with weekly news articles. I was just showing that there's plenty of Final Fantasy news to find, if you search hard enough.

What about all the older members who use poor grammar? Every forum has them; I've seen a couple here. Yes, FFE has them too. Oh, and I added a comma and a period for you. The period is one of the most basic tools, I'm surprised someone such as yourself forgot to put one at the end of a sentence. =/

Also, commas do not come before the words "And" or "But"- unless given as an example - because there is supposed to be an automatic pause in speech before connective such as those.

Well, any articles I actually submit are of course proof-read and corrected by myself. I am quite coherent in the subject having had many years experience on the Internet and in formal education.

I'd like to get reliable, professional writers, but I do not see them growing on trees. It seems to me that someone good comes along, and then disappears shortly after that. I suppose I will have to start paying people, as I do not necessarily pick up the top scoops myself with another 27 sites to juggle. (Though FFNet is priority!)

There's some news I've not added, such as the FF12 confirmed release date, but I have been up to my eyes in it here, and we're having some RAM issues in our server room which is really troubling me. (Should be sorted soon, incidentally).

If anyone wishes to submit a story for the main page, they're more than welcome to do so. It's a good format to do so as our main page receives thousands of pageviews a day and is currently performing one of the best in the Final Fantasy community.

Anyhoo, you don't need to shell out for news writers unless you want to guarentee that they'll post a certain amount of content on a regular basis. Your community is key - that's where you'll get a preview of the literacy level of most of your dedicated members, as well as a good idea of how much they know about the topics you'd like them to write about.

It's all well and good that your main site gets thousands of pageviews per day, most listed fansites do. Your priority needs to be building up your forums. You need to make it more interesting and more attractive to potential members. At the moment, the layout of the forums seems quite dull. There's nothing eye catching on the banner, and the general layout really doesn't have anything that stands out. You might want to make/have a new skin made.

Let's take our site, for example (ho noes, don't kill me khil1). FFExtreme used to have, in my opinion, the best forum community of all the FF fansites. It was extremely active, and filled with a whole host of entertaining members. I would know, as I was there. Anyway, events occured that led to it shutting down, and most of these members moving on to other places. The main site was completely unaffected by this, but the site overall suffers.

So yeah, to repeat, your community is key.
