"Anyhoo, you don't need to shell out for news writers unless you want to guarentee that they'll post a certain amount of content on a regular basis."

Kinda sums that whole thing up right there. I need something from people, and if you don't pay people, they don't deliver

Our forum layout is dull? I THINK IT'S CUTE! lol, I realise there could be more choices, but should the design be of paramount importance as long as it's not offensive to look at?

<3 and hugs

It's just blue shapes, Alex. :/ Here's an example of a layout that stands out: http://www.ffinsider.net/

Note that the new forum layout sucks, so ignore that. The main site placing is also messy, because the guy that owns FFI is a complete noob. I used to work for him, I should know. XD But yeah, you should see how that header image (if it was saved in better quality) makes the site look really pro, even though it's run by a bunch of noobs. If you can add quality content and a great community to that sort of layout, you've got a top notch FF site.

And then there's pagerank on Google. Without it, all your efforts go to waste. I've done extensive research on upping pagerank for my own site (nothing to do with FF, hell it's not even released yet >_>) but that's a whole different topic.

Meh. xD I'm not saying you don't know this, I was just adding it on to my other point.

Anyhoo, if you're gonna pay someone to do content for you, pay me. FFE didn't ever pay me. I feel neglected. *Cuts*

If I was going to pay someone, it'd be a professional writer on a short term basis. I am not gonna pay a kid to write :/... especially one that doesn't think I'm astute. Irony abound!

Heh, I've been writing since I was twelve. If you're interested, I'll throw up some content for you as a preview.

Not to be mean or anything, End Game, but I've been writing since I was twelve and I've been published.
