Favorite FF Music

For me, i really like the FF8 Normal Battle music. Don't know why, I just like the music.

I like a lot of the msic in Final Fantasy. One of my favorites (the same as many people) is One-Winged Angel, but if you based it on how long I could stand listening to a particular song, I would go with FFV Victory Fanfare, Hymn of the Fayth, and the original Chocobo theme, in order of preference.

Some songs I like mainly because of the cutscenes that accompany them, so I haven;t listed those here.

Strangely enough, as much of an Uematsu fangirl as I am, I've started to really appreciate some of the pieces from FFXII (Sakimoto). Especially the more ambient ones like for Cerobi Steppe. My favourite one at the moment is the Great Crystal music, it goes round and round in my head ^^

I have a select few from each game that I adore, I always have the "songs" from the later games to listen to eg. Suketi Da Ne, Eyes On Me, Melodies Of Life etc. I'm also a sucker for piano and orchestral versions of stuff

I've a mad preferrence for the older pieces too, especially those by Nobou Uematsu.
His piano pieces are really a masterpiece in his own right, the fact he was (Supposedly) self-taught makes it more interesting.
I'm in awe of him, if you would have it.
