ummm the loop demo from FF XII is (in one sense) AWESOMENESS but i enjoy X-2 as well. Really, if you ask me, the one thing that X-2 EXTREMELY rocked on is the soundtrack, it seems calm and happy, which i enjoyed. Maybe thats just me, it WAS my first FF soooo.... ya know

OH YEAH, totally! Especially when theres one of those 10-hour club mixes (which includes 2 afterparties) those are the best. But when you finally listen to the game music, its nice

I was actually incredibly disappointed with the Final Fantasy X-2 soundtrack, as well as for obvious reasons the game itself. After the epic soundtracks of games like 4, 6, 8 and X it was really disappointing that Matsueda was given the job. However, I think she's a wonderful composer, and the music suited the game. But, the game didn't suit the tag Final Fantasy, and so...neither does the music. Oh, and no fanfare? No trademark battle theme bassline? Naughty Noriko. |

Thats what i like! this game is in NO way epic, its supposed to be lighthearted. Also, the fanfare and battle are played on the guitar, listen hard, they're there.

My favorite is the white Knight opera theme, or aeris' death theme, cuz they are so beautiful...just like my Angels starlightCRUSH* and Firesnake...they make my world go 'round.
