Can you get this online? - Final Fantasy Net

Does anybody know if you can any kind of game thats really close or is Final Fantasy Tactics but online? My friend said he used to play it online but then the program got deleted, I want to know if there is still hope for me =D

FF Tactics was a great game(the playstation version) i doubt that anything with out ff in front of it would be good(such as tactics ogre) but i to have not heard of any online like games. sorry.

well, it's possible it was a game such as Terra World or similar- but I don't know.
The only based on FF game I've played is a Final Fantasy Seven game named "Final Fantasy 7: The Promised Land"..It was ok, but you needed I.E and nothing else doing to play it (it consumed RAM like sponges consume water..Except, without it all falling out if you picked it up.)
