The thread for those who hate the Spirits within...
I really don't like this film.
It's just really DULL. While fairly original, it is still cliche'

It is pretty bad. 2/5 stars! i liked the use of cgi.

This movie was the first Final Fantasy movie & it was terrible.
Do you think Squarenix just wanted to make some coin?

Yes. and they are doing the same with FFVII AC.
But that will probably do better as they have better actors to work with.

Agreed, tho I can still watch the film and enjoy it. I'm a sucker for cool CG.

I think it was pretty bad move, It meant we'd all seen GODLIKE cgi and so the graphics of FFX weren't groundbreaking, also the story was poor, so people might've gotten the wrong impression of FFX from that.

I actually liked the movie a lot, but i couldnt see what relation it had to FF at all, so i dont know why they put final fantasy in the name.
they shouls hae just called it "the spirits within" andthen everyone wouldnt rip the piss out of it so much

Yes. I think it is a blemish on the name FF. Even you Kobushi wouldn't say that it was even on par with any of the FFs would you?
