haha, well theres a few things
1. When he shoots pillars of fire ou of the ground, use an attack that makes you invincible, such as sonic blade
2. As soon as he dissapears, mash the lock on button like hell
3. To stop sin harvest, glide over to him with square button and attack as soon as you can
4. When he spazzs out and and glows purple while flying around and hacking the crap out of you, use Ars Acanum cause it makes you invisible
5. HAVE A SH*T LOAD OF ELIXIRS
Try that, there more ways

yeah i just think i'm gonna have to go with out beeting sephy cuz i don't have enough elixers and have no chance in hell of winning

Sephiroth is easy when your on a super high level but on expert he seems easy.  |

Do what I did.. synthesise elixirs/megalixers at the moogle shop. All the items you need can be obtained from beating the heartless, so you'll get alot of EXP in preparation for Sephiroth! |

I can normally beat Sephiroth without any items now, mainly because I know all his moves.
