have any of you played it? personally i think its a great game the battle system was great and i really liked the pe spells,especially liberation. There were a few flaws though the text seemed to go on for hours and aya ran very slowly but overall these were minor faults and easily overlooked. The storyline was great and EVE was great when you found out the truth about her it was like omg it all makes sense and the optional warehouse bit was like insanly hard but added another dimension to the game, the weapons shop was good at the nypd when it gave you the chance to make new weapons generally overall i thought it was an amazing game, what do you think of it?

okay i'll give you the basics only because i don't want to ruin for you if you ever play the game, Aya is the main character(you can change her name but thats the default name) she works for the nypd(new york police department) she goes to an opera with her boyfriend but it goes horribly wrong because the opera house sets on fire she is one of the few survivors and tries to apprehend a girl known as melissia because she is the only other person alive at the sence then she runs away aya follows her and then all sorts of weird events happen envolving melissa and aya but im not gona say any more because it would ruin the storyline,unless you want me too of course.

oh yeah just remembered the is a lot of science involved in it which is rather hard to understand if its your first play through and there are a few cops that help Aya who are part of the storyline and a mad scientist. Its all quite confusing but well worth the effort because it is a great game!

I've played that a few times, but that when i was 10-11 yrs old. I really like that, but i can't find that game anymore in shops because i've rented it that time.

Parasite Eve, or rather the scientific concept which it harboured, was actually based from a Japanese novel of the same name.

I played it, but I was not able to complete it. The final Guardian was much too hard for me, as I was so completely under leveled...but a great game none the less.

The novel is now out in america. It has nothing to do with the game though. I started to play it a couple of days ago. Aya runs really slow but the game is good. I prefer more of a FF type fighting system though
