the Wii is great...itll have to compete with the new PS3, but its a must for hard-core nintendo fans..and any other gamers...

PS3 offers no competition (or at least, it wouldn't if it wasn't Sony's new system). $600, no good games yet, Wii has backwards compatibility and can hook up to the DS... I'm getting the Wii as soon I I find enough cash, and waiting until KH3 or a reasonable proce drop to get the PS3.

I have a Wii. It's not overly spectacular, quite fun at the beginning though. The severe lack of games is frustrating. The 360 has a good 2 kilometre lead in this marathon so far, and the PS3 is going to start gaining. As much as everyone enjoys to jump on the 'LOL SONY' bandwagon, they have the best hardware and some of the best titles to come. It's a shame that the wii seems like itll only be a gimmick console, with the flagship nintendo titles providing the only riposte to an Xbox and Playstation onslaught in the near future

My friend has the Wii and too be honest It's pretty crap, like Vitg said Its good to begin with...

But the playstations beat it hands down.

I still think my Ps1 is pretty but its been left in the shadows....

i still play ps1 games...

wii will be beat down at first by the Xbox and PS, but if nintendo gamers hang on long enough, it weill be rewarding in the future (many nintendo gamecube games are gionna be reformated onto the wii, such as prince of persia and legend of zelda)

It's a new console. Of course there aren't numerous titles for it. The 360 didn't have many titles at the beginning. Plus you can download old games for much cheaper than the old ps titles. I'm not sure if the 360 can even download games. Wich of the three systems is motion freakin sensitive. That is awsome. Its also les than half the price of a ps3 and cheaper than the 360. Give it time there will be games for the wii. Backwards capatibility and hook ups with the ds and the other handhelds can't go wrong there. So the ps3 hooks up with the psp but that is only one handheld for the ps. I don't know I think the wii is a little more advanced than the others. My opinion there.

Ladies and gentlemen, the ramblings of someone who refuses to face the truth.

We all want Nintendo to succeed. We all wish their approach of Revolution over Evolution will pay dividends, but you can't just take a stance that the Wii is best when you don't own a PS3, and you apparently know nothing about the 360 when you don't know of the existence of Live Arcade.

And if you look, sir, at the oncoming Wii titles to come out, you'll notice that the only major title in the next 4 TO 5 MONTHS is Wario Ware. Ugh.

And um, the PS3 is motion sensitive aswell. So..

You said that the Wii connects to the DS which is good, but the PS3 only connects to the PSP which is bad...uh...what?

And yes, I think it's been well documented that because of the low price the Wii should sell more units in it's infancy than the PS3 and 360 have/did. However, once developers come to terms with the power of both the PS3 and 360, and once the stellar titles begin to release, your Halo 3's, FFXIIIs etc, and the prices of the consoles start to drop, I honestly can't see the Wii keeping up. It seems like it's going to be a specialist console again, as the GC was..

Oh and uh, I think Backwards compatability is a moot point, more Xbox titles are becoming BC with each passing day, and IIRC PS2 and PS1 games (though there were some issues with the ff titles) are backwards compatible out of the box ( as in, once you remove your ps3 from said box >_>)

Yay I'm may play it today! at my friend's house. Also I heard the PS3 has blu-ray in it, and I heard that it's HUGE!

The PS3 is like a gigantic breadbin. Yes. But I still don't see the problem, it's not exactly meant to be a handheld..
