PC. ^^ Oh, and you can cutomize the worlds somewhat when you hit the space race stage... Then you can terraform planets, pick up and control species created by other players, etc... it'll be quite the god game.

Hmm, this whole Spore business sounds quite interesting I must say. But it also sounds pretty complicated. I'm not sure my technical abilities would be up to it, it afterall took me the better part of a whole week to learn how to use my iTunes.
The only story that I would of been interested in seeing as a game was an old movie I use to watch all the time called The Dark Crystal. It was a fantasy and had some absolutely spectacular visuals and story concepts that I thought could of potentially made a really interesting game. Either a game based on the movie itself, or maybe even better happening after the movie. Hmm, other than that I cannot think of anything else, usually these ideas never work out very well anyways.

Well... they have a prequel manga out for the Dark Crystal, as well as a sequel coming out this year. ^^ It may not be too far-fetched for them to make a game tie-in, I suppose. :3

I did some research. I had read about this game in GI mag it sounded familiar so I check in on it. Check out the note at the bottom paragraph. It may be for more consoles soon!!!
From the very tiniest forms of life to the intergalactic level of existence, you are in control of life itself in this simulation game by Will Wright. Beginning in the primordial ooze, players create a character from DNA that will grow, survive, and mate as it evolves from a single-celled organism to a fully-formed member of an establishing species. As more and more creatures inhabit the world, and as evolution forms the future, your species will join herds, clans, even civilizations. The more advanced the creatures of the planet grow, the more complex the strife of survival becomes.
NOTE: This game has been unofficially confirmed as a project planned (or at least heavily, heavily, heavily considered across multiple platforms -- once the PC version is in full form, designer Will Wright will be looking into ways to bring the creation to other systems ... it may be next-gen only, or it may be portables only, or most likely, it may be developed across all current platforms), but the publisher has not announced the game or committed to platforms. It may or may not be released on this system. Please check back for official details.

Oh, yes... And once more on the subject of SPORE, there are some interesting videos about it, including one of Robin Williams, the comedian, demonstrating how easy it is to create creatures from scratch with a bit of his comedy added in for good measure. xD

A game based upon The Dark Crystal-that would definitely be something interesting and worthwhile to see; however it could not be put in any company's hands, as half of them would only be out there to make profit from whatever success the film and its counterparts such as sequels or manga had or would see. :/

Well... About the only companies that would get profits would be either Jim Henson Studios or Genndy Tartakovsky's company that's making the new movie... And it may not turn out that bad, seeing as his company plans on going into game design at some point. Only time would tell, though, I guess...
