Games YOU think should be made...
Well...Basically discuss what games you'd like to see on the market.
For example, I'd LOVE to see a Battle Royale game. It'd be so fun to play! (How sadistic am i? XD) (...you must've seen the movie or read the book/manga. It rocks yer socks. Really. I recommend.) It should be where there are levels. And in each level you get 41 people that you have to kill to get to the next one. .....Probably each level would be set in a different place....and the people would be harder to beat and stuff.
...Very bloody and violent. XD Also very very good fun.
But yer. What films/books/general ideas would you like to be made into a game? ^-^

if its bloody and action packed, i'll play that game. . .if ever its made. . .
i for one would like sony to make a game where many of its iconic characters fight. . .sort of like nintendo's smash bros. brawl. . .i would love to fight with kratos, daxter, clank. . .you get my drift. . .where you get to fight characters. . .well, a competion really. . .think of a dancing comepetion. . .master chief vs. cloud. . .kratos vs. sephiroth. . .dancing to either rock, tango, or even robot dancing. . .i think it'll be funny to see such iconic characters do that. . .

I would love to see a Halloween based survival horror game. Of course, with merely one villain throughout one game, it would end up being less then stellar, such as games like Haunting ground. Still, in my mind, the game would be great.
It could span the first two films, and you could alternate between Laurie Strode and Sam Loomis. Laurie could set traps, knock things over and such wussy women things, and Sam could use some firearms. I have this entire intricate system in my head that might make a great Halloween game, but I will not bore anyone with it.
Or, they could make a slasher simulator game, where you create a random slasher, complete with assortments of masks, weapons and freaky costumes. you could decide on specific murderous methods professions, and depending on how you kill and stalk people, you earn a reputation. (Also trademark deaths, like Jason's window crash corpse, or Myer's one armed drop death.) If you go at it too much as a maniac, the authorities and FBI come after you more often, and with reputation pints or whatever you could upgrade your killer.
You would have different missions such as killing sprees, serial killing and what have you, and...the ''Climax Death'' system!
As always, slashers come back from the dead one way or another...so, when you do get killed, you must make it a spectacular ending death worthy of a slasher film. Then you come back with more points and all. I also have this entire scenario in my head about how a game like this could be fun. But like Manhunt, it would probably never see the light of day. XD

I wonder how many other games they have in Japan that are based on animes, a Love Hina one would be lots of fun ^^
Aside from that I would love to see a Disney version of Super Smash Bros, just so I could make them all kill each other or perhaps something deep like a martial arts movie made into an RPG adventure, such as House Of Flying Daggers. I love those kind of films, I always wondered what it would feel like to have control over the characters and really be in the moment.

I would like a game which would never bore me. That means about 10 main heroes and different storilines for each of them. It should be Quest or RPG I supose. But it must not be like any of Counter Strike games!
I would like them to make such game of Resident Evil.

Well... a game I have an idea for has maybe 20 possible main characters, starting off with a single character. It'll be a first-person action RPG where you can switch form character to character in your party and look at things from their point of view. The catch...? All of them have some sort of psychological issue or phobia that you can break to have them develop personality-wise more through out the storyline. Also, each possible outcome will have it's own specific ending to the story, even going down to the detail of what character you finished the game controlling.

Thats a freaken awesome idea!
My idea of a game is an ultimate Online Rpg were one could customize characters, spells, weapons, missions, and vehicles. challenge others to duals, to complete your custom missions or to lead armies against yours. the game would be practically made by the players. there would be reasource restrictions of course but nothing is measured in levels.
that would be freakin awesome too.
Of course a game like that would need 3-5 extra dics...

Actually... All it would take is a system similar to SPORE, where users can make almost everything, and everything that's made by the users are stockpiled online in specific file servers. When a game starts, each player has immediate access to that file server, thus being able to view all user creations without loading additional files onto their computer. You could proabably run a game like that with a single DVD disc. I do admit, I'm not a fan of MMOs, though. xD

Spore is a life simulation game by Will Wright and EA, supposed to be released this year. Supposedly, everything (life forms, cities, civilizations) except the worlds themselves can be created entirely by the users, all the way down to the graphics. And the players will not have all their files stored on their own computers, but, rather, EA's own database, so as to save players' computers from being overrun with files. The key difference between SPORE and your idea is, SPORE is a single-player sim. However, because all the users of the game are required to have internet to play SPORE (in order to have access to the database files) it's not much of a difference.
