Waahaha, raped. XD Serves him right for trying to restrict us to such a small battle space. You did much better than I though, I started over like seven times. Although I did not think about Nitesco at first. Seemed kind of wussy, until I said, FINE I will try it.
Well then, if you had no trouble with him, then you should be fine for the remaining three guardians. Next up, Eligor. Perhaps not the most difficult, but certainly one of the most impressive ones. Even better than the crab.
Speaking of which, I might have said it already but...am doing the Boss Rush mode now, where you must vanquish them under four minutes. I wish they did not include the stupid crab...he is not a problem on the level I am now, however the whole of this fight is basically calculated cinematics, he takes too damn long, and easily wastes two entire minutes. :/

Hmm, when I was fighting the Crab Boss just after I got up onto the first ledge I let my Zombies out so during the opening scene when the crab is moving up they take damage off him. I did this at every stage just to make it that little easier. This might help for you maybe?
Hey lookie what I found Two new areas of awesomeness.
I like screencaps.

I managed beating the guardians under four minutes. The damage is not the problem, in fact I hurt him so much that the game skipped most of its attacks-the problem was waiting for him to smash the roof and climb up after you. (I used Volaticus, so fuck that damn Magnes glyph ha ha.)
And you get an AWESOME helmet! It reduces your heart consumption by half, and is so far giving the biggest bonuses for every statistic aside from mind.
Oooh right, Large Cavern and the Keep. Now you can complete your remaining villager quests.
Be warned though...The Large Cavern has demi gods in it. >_>

Ah, perhaps level 30...something me should wait a while before I tackle those new places.
For now I seem to have hit a problem in the Castle that I have no where to go. I must have missed an important Glyph or hidden area because all the places are blocked or unreachable.
So now is a good time to stop playing for tonight and continue when I'm more awake.

I am not sure exactly where to go next, but I shall take a wild guess...look at the picture I posted. Go back to the room I've encircled. It is the one with water in it, and besides this, I drew a rough sketch of, more or less, what this room looks like.
I do not remember every single detail but...this is where you push the blocks in the water, to make the water rise, and then swim upwards to the exit on the left side of the room.
Little catch is, you must jump over the top block. Get to the lower block and push that one in the water first. THEN go push the higher ground block in the water...otherwise, the upper block just falls on the lower block, and the water will not rise enough. You cannot push both at the same time.
Incidentally though, you may walk back out of the room and reset both of the blocks and the water level. >_>

Haha I had completely forgot about that room.
I killed Death, if that's possible...and have explored about 80% of the Castle now.
I need to find an Onyx, I found a diamond no bother.

If I recall, there is a secret room in the part of the castle that is above the Cerberus statue with a whole bunch of chests...there are two rooms like this, one secret one not. But I do not remember which one, although both are in the same area, I am sure you will find it. You need Volaticus first though.
The onyx is one of those, although you can also get random ones in green chests, but you would have to be patient as hell until one turns up.

Eligor is without doubt the hardest boss yet. For me anyway.

Once you figure out all the patterns though, he is a joke. But, this also depends on which glyph you are using.
If you did not absorb Globus from the Barlowe fight, then use Vol Umbra plus Vol Luminato to quickly get rid of both crossbows even before you rush underneath him, however two hammer glyphs put together get rid of them nice while you are underneath him, only you must be careful not to jump too high, or you shall take damage.
And, a word of advice, once you get to the head, unlike the rest of his body, the globe there is NOT weak against hammers, you must use the scythe, it is weak against slash attacks, for some reason.
I am doing the Training Hall, one of the secret dungeons...over and over, to randomly get an item I do not have. Argh argh argh I hate this place. So much.

Haha I can't believe the one time I beat Barlowe turned out to be the one time I forgot to absorb Globus from him. Every time I tried that fight the first thing I did was get Globus but I must have forgot that one time, damn.
I haven't fought Eligor today yet, but I did finish the Training Hall and collect some Onyx and Alexandrite at the end so I finished those two quests and don't have much more to do.
