It's better than one webcomic artist predicted, that they'd eventually scrap all of the monsters except the undead, have Dracula able to sprout a big gory scythe-head out of his neck, and have Leon wield a shotgun that fires whips.
It's a bit more specifically aimed at a particular game, but it;'s not that much mre exaggerated than what they actually planned to do.
(I'd like it if it focused more on the characters than be a ninety-minute epicbrawler like it seems it will be/would have been.

Indeed. Symphony of the Night has more than enough self conflict and identity crisis material to elaborate upon for example, but unfortunately, if we see a film of this, it will most likely be Mortal Kombat with greatcoats. :/

The inverted castle in SoN is slapping me around like a bitch. How do I kill those black panthers that turn to smoke everytime I try to slash my sword at them? And there are so many of those winged archers in the towers that it is so hard to avoid them (only because you are high in the air in bat-form when you encounter them and so it's harder to avoid their barage of arrows).
Give me reassurance pweeze. Or at least a hefty tip.

Ah right, those nasty panthers...well, it is very hard to kill with most weapons. You must time it just right, strike at it so that it dissipates, and once it stops running around, you must position yourself in front of it and try to strike a little before it turns back into a panther. I guide myself with the graphical animation; before it morphs back into a panther, the ''liquid'' graphics turn into little squares, you strike then.
But, I usually wait until I get a katana weapon, the ones which you can make quick twirly attacks with by doing the Street Fighter II fireball move, or wait until you get a sword which has the twirlies as a normal attack.
Or again, turn into poisonous mist and just strike them as you float around.
Edit-Oh, and if you've not done so yet, go kill some Nova Skeletons, the green ones that urinate beams at you. they are found in the inverted Outer wall. Spend about twenty minutes killing some to make your levels rise like crazy.
Also, I am not quite sure what you mean by turning into a bat for the towers in the cathedral...it is not really necessary. :/

Remember, this map here is the normal one...you will find the Nova Skeletons in the place circled in green-within the inverted castle.

Well now that I am done FFIV DS and lending it along with my DS to my brother so he can play it, I will get back into my PSP games for a while for on-the-go entertainment. I will let you know if I find those evil skeletons, as well as picking up a copy of that wonderful Terminus Est sword that they seem to foolishly leave laying around occasionally after they are reduced to a pile of dust.

Igarashi: WiiWare Castlevania 'might be the right approach'
Posted Aug 18th 2008 2:44PM by JC Fletcher
Filed under: News, WiiWare
Another E3 interview with Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi has surfaced, this time from Nintendo World Report. After justifying Castlevania Judgment yet again, Igarashi gave a tenuous, noncommittal, but still interesting statement regarding future Castlevania games: "With regards to WiiWare, I'm evaluating that right now, and to be honest, I think a 2D Castlevania game on WiiWare might be the right approach."
He has previously said that he was interested in how things turned out for Mega Man 9, and he has said that WiiWare was an interesting service, but this is the most direct Igarashi has been yet about a WiiWare entry in the franchise. He also confirmed the nature of the Order of Ecclesia connection bonus: as we expected, Shanoa is unlocked in Judgment by connecting with a DS running Order of Ecclesia.
