This is what I call...

"A FREAKEN SWEET THREAD!!!!"

WHY DID"NT I THINK OF IT!?

Okay, Im going to rip on FF12.

Story... Awesome.
Chacters... a little wishy washy a few of them at times but other-wise cool.
Battle system... perfect.

Weapons/armor making system... Sucks. Why, Because the right items are difficult to find and you only get specific weapons when you finally sell the right combination of items to sell at the bizarre. I would prefer to have the weapon/armor customization system of FF10.

Default 10 Things I didn't like about Final Fantasy VI

1.
I had issues with our original wild-child, Gau. I had fun obsessively collecting every one of his Leap abilities by spending hours and hours of time roaming the Veldt. It just made me a little mad that I hardly ever ended up using them, but this is only because I didn’t like using Gau very much off the Veldt. I didn’t like how after you selected his Rage ability in battle you lost all control of him; and there was no way to snap him out of it, other than death. As a result, I don’t think I ever used him in a boss battle; he was just too much of a liability when times were tough.

2.
I didn’t like how you couldn’t run faster on the playing fields unless you wasted an Accessory slot wearing a pair of Sprint Shoes. Sorry fourth party member, but you gotta carry the burden.

3.
Emperor Ghestalt’s damn questions. No matter how many times I redid that banquet over again with the Emperor and answered a different combination of responses to his questions, I could never get more than about 75 Peace Points, not enough for Ghestalt to hand over that elusive extra Tintinabar and Charm Bangle to add to my inventory. And the countdown “soldier information collection” sprint immediately before the banquet was strange too. No matter how hard I power leveled before hand, no matter how prepared I was ahead of time, I could never collect nearly enough of these mysterious Peace Points to my satisfaction within the 4:00 minute limit.

4.
I hated having General Leo for only one battle. What a tease that was, Shock rules!

5.
The cast of playable characters was occasionally unbalanced. Some were way stronger than others much too early in the game. I still remember it was possible to do most of Sabin’s strongest Blitz abilities immediately upon meeting him, making him an ultimate power house right off the bat. Rather puts Mog’s pitiful little Water Rondo dance in perspective, and to which you yourself have to go out and find. Where is the justice in that I ask ya?

6.
I wanted more Rename Cards.

7.
I didn’t like how you could kill the Ghost Train in one move by simply using a Pheonix Down on him. I wish I didn’t even know about this secret, it just feels like cheating the odd time I have tried it. Especially when it really isn’t a very challenging battle to begin with, not when you have such physically strong party members at the time. (except for Mr. Ghost I suppose XD)

8.
I loved the character of Mog, but I just hated one of his little tricks. He kept a tiny hidden trinket where he sleeps called a Moogle Charm, and it tricked me once or twice. Of course I loved collecting items, so I always took it. When equipped on Mog in your party you will meet no monsters, but you also miss out on a large part of the story. The battles are the best parts, lot’s of action. I admit I was tricked into using it once or twice at the Fanatics’ Tower to preserve Elixer.

9.
I don’t like how this guy gets to do stuff like this and we all don’t:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TjFnqXRn48

Looks crappy in battle, but would be cool to have a Maduin character on a save file.

10.
Oh, and if I had to think of just one more thing I didn’t like about FFVI, it would be Cyan’s special sword skill ability, only because once your level capped at a certain point well before level 99 the lowest technique, Dispatch, inflicted basically no more damage than the highest technique, Cleave, which leaves the entire challenge of waiting for the filling bar-meter somewhat obsolete. Ergo, I very rarely waited for techniques past the Quadra Slam. I didn’t use them very often though, at a certain level Cyan was usually strong enough without them.

If you manage to convert them though, this adds to the missing points needed for the Emperor to hand everything over. (You can actually at least miss ONE set of soldiers and still get a perfect score if you answer all the questions right.)

I completely agree with number two. That pissed me off too, wasting space just to walk faster? Brilliant.

Well I was never too worried about it, mostly because it is still possible to get those items from other means, so they were still in my inventory.

Right C&C Tiberium Wars.

Naff music (I usually dub over Renegade music) and no naval combat.
Scrin were really, you know, they shouldn't be there. It was so easy the Scrin, you just get a ton of f***ing Buzzers and Disintegrators and rip the enemy to shreds!
