Default The long awaited Brawl thread?

Seeing as how SC* kinda called me out in another topic saying you'd need a Smash Bros. Thread to bring me back harhar, I found you don't ACTUALLY have one. Shocked, I created one.

Seriously, none of you have it or play it?

Did you all get lost on your way to the shops on launch day?

Did your Wii kerplutch when the disc was inserted?

Were you too busy playing Wii Fit?

It demands answers.

I wish I had a Wii for this game only, otherwise I wouldn't entertain having one. I want this game!!!!! Hopefully it will be on one of my kid siblings' birthday or Christmas list, so I can have a crack at it then. I was wondering myself if anyone else had played it, I've only seen this game discussed over on KH3 *_*

Much too busy playing ten year old vampire games or disgruntled cowboy games. (Wild Arms Alter Code F.)
Also, I do not own a Wii, although I would be much interested in seeing Ness kick the crap out of Pikachu.
But really, is not my kind of game at all. Unless you can gain levels, and if there are ravens in it.

Are there?

Or hot pants, at least?

I play Melee a lot. As for Brawl, I don;t have the cash. Got cut off from allowance two days after i got the Wii, have been scrounging for enough cash to buy even older games ever since. Want SSBB, though. Anyway, glad to see you back.

I've got it, I've played it and I must say I prefer melee. Brawl feels too floaty and uncoordinated, taking out the fine tuned controls that let for elaborate set-ups and instead replacing it with a "JUST HIT HIM REALLY HARD" sort of playstyle. Which I hate.

my 2 cents though.

Not exactly a new view on the game either. Sakurai was trying for just that, he wants your dad to be able to pick it up after youve been playing for a year and still be able to beat you by bashing his head into the wiimote.

Still, even without the ATs there's still room for competitive play, as I've been finding out.

I will not play Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was most disappointed that Lyndis is an Assist Trophy rather than a playable character, and my favorite Nintendo game Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu got no representation in Brawl. According to the posts I read about any future Super Smash Bros. game, it seems that my Smash Bros. run has ended with Melee.
