StarOcean- Till the end of time on ps2 - Final Fantasy Net

I just bought it on the strength of the makers square-enix. I haven't played it yet and wonder if anyone else has. I bought Unlimited saga on that theory too once and was very dissappointed. I hope I haven't made the same mistake twice....

"Unlimited Saga" was indeed a marketed fraud. No production values what-so-ever.. and "Star Ocean" has always been good enough to calm gamers down."till the end of time" the game is pretty long and some parts revolve around aimless wandering and creating items.. if you want to have a good time with the series.. then purchase: Star Ocean: the second story (PS1) it's quite good. As far as "till the end of time" goes.. it's really not that bad. it's flawed but it's still a decent rpg. The battle system is a little dull and broken but it's a suitable epic. I don't think you'll beat it numerous times but the first expierence will be more than enough.

star ocesan isint bad its just not that good in the same basket as unlimited saga i would of said

Star Ocean is pretty good but different to Final Fantasy. i wouldn say thats a bad thing but if your looking for an RPG to match the final fantasy series then your barking up the wrong tree.

Star Ocean has one of the most controversial plot twists in any of the many RPGs ive ever played. Purely and simply because it either makes or breaks the game, depending on whether you think its good or a load of bull
