KH2 I'm stuck!!!

Argh I'm nearly to the end of this game and I'm actually stuck!!!

I'm in the Castle That Never Was, facing a blond-haired member of Organization XIII (Luxord?). It's the one with the Time Limit and all the cards flying around that you have to flip around. I really can't understand what's going on and it's the first time in this game that I'm getting seriously owned!

Any tactics would be really really helpful. It seems that no matter how many times I hit the guy my time limit still goes right down! Once I even got his time limit down and I still lost because mine suddenly went down really quick. AAAARGHHHH!!!!! I don't even know what I'm supposed to do to keep mine from going down!!!! *cries*

So any help would be great please *puppy dog eyes*

And, like most themed bbattles, reaction commands are your best friends
And occasionally use status ailments, stopga ans slow work exceptionally well (or exceptionally poorly, or do not appear in the sequel. let me check my notes).


Okay, here's what BradyGames has to say about this: Attack him to lower his time, keep your HP up so you don;t die, and attack him even more when he turns you into dice or cards so that he doesn;t deplete your HP. Also, use the card flip reaction command whenever possible.

So basically, Attackattackattackattackattack.
Attackattackattackattackattack.
Attackattackattackattackattack.
*transformed*reaction command
*turn back to human*Attackattackattackattackattack.
repeat until win occurs.

This is one of the battles I had the most trouble with as well. The only harder XIII battle I can recall is against the sniper (Xigbar?), and that was only because Sora accumulated enough change points to accidentally become anti-sora every time the battle started.

Edit: I think this may, however, have best been placed in the "Other Games" category, what with there only being a Final Fantasy and Other Games category, and no Square Enix games with Final Fantasy and Other SE Games subcategories. Easy mistake to make, though, considering how this forum used to be organized, and how noone's posted anything specifically about KH in quite a while.

It took me three tries on that battle, but i pulled through, And i agree with everything said here.

yeah. have you ever felt like trying to throw a pack of playing cards (not in the packet) through your television? That's what some of kh2 is like (though adjusted to fit the situation)

Yeah I'm sorry for being so blunt I thought about it after I posted.


KH series was fun for me. I remember getting stuck once or twice for a little while but managed to get through it. Though it does pain me to admit it.

Hahahaha, it's ok. This is the first time I've been genuinely stuck, I have had it pretty easy so far ^^

I haven't re-attemped it yet, since my youngest brother is away and likes to watch me play the game (ZOMG Disney rules ), he made me promise not to play any more until he gets back. Kinda annoying, since I'm itching to go and do it!!!
