I used to eat carrots all the time when I was but a lass...it did not do very good, did it?
And if rabbits eat carrots so much, how come they are all blind?

unlike my dad, I got thick hair so I don't think I have to worry.... in fact I'm not... as long as I don't go bald.. in the next 30 years. -_-;;
So you're afraid cause it runs in the family? It does with mine

It also depends on what you put in your hair...
Us girls like to dye our hair, put all sorts of fixating gel and hairspray and shampoos and crap that make the hair shine when heat hits it..which burns the root.. permanently..
This ruins the hair much faster, and invites an earlier hair loss.
I put nothing in mine at all, and perhaps it does not look as fantastic as it might if I did things with it, but I know I shall keep it for long, and that it will always be healthy. Just normal shampoo and water, that is all.
Not that, automatically you shall lose all your hair if you put too many things in it, or dye it often, as some people have more sensitive hair then others, but avoiding such a thing is a good way to ensure the health of your hair, no matter its innate condition.
And as for the genetic issue, it is not always how people think it to be. For example, the heredity for early hair loss skips generation. Say if you grandfather lost his hair at the age forty, then you shall probably not lose yours, but your children will suffer the same fate.
But these things are hard to tell, as the path it takes is not constant or equal, it may skip several generations, or none at all.
But this is more common for men then it is for women.

I used to dye my hair once, maybe twice a year, for two years. I never use hair spray or stupid conditioner/shampoo things. But I actually have increased hair loss due to stress.

Well, I assume you are young enough that it keeps growing back.
Evil stress.
